Imperial Plaza is a 160,000 square foot retail center situated on 11 acres in Inglewood, California. The property was acquired in 2003 from a non-local owner that was mismanaging the asset. Upon acquisition, the property was only 75% occupied with sub-market rents. Levy Affiliated heavily invested in improvements and repairs and replaced the anchor tenant with a higher quality, credit tenant. Within one year of the acquisition, rental income increased by 35% and the property remains near full occupancy.
